Job Description:
About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and proactive HR Manager to manage end-to-end HR operations for our fully remote workforce of around 150 employees. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, process-driven, and experienced in managing HR functions in a remote or distributed work environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, performance management, exits, and offboarding
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS systems
Talent Management
- Coordinate recruitment activities in collaboration with hiring managers
- Manage onboarding and induction programs for remote employees
- Support employee engagement, retention initiatives, and career development
Payroll & Benefits
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave, and reimbursements
- Manage employee benefits, insurance, and statutory filings through vendors
- Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies
Performance & Employee Relations
- Implement and manage performance appraisal cycles
- Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution
- Support managers with performance improvement plans and disciplinary processes
Policy & Culture
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies suitable for a remote-first organization
- Promote company culture, employee well-being, and engagement initiatives
- Organize virtual events, training programs, and communication initiatives
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards including headcount, attrition, leave, and compliance
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership on key HR metrics
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Up to 5 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles
- Experience managing HR functions for a workforce of 50–150 employees
- Strong understanding of labour laws and HR best practices
- Experience working with remote teams and HR tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a remote-first or distributed organization
- Familiarity with employee engagement and virtual culture-building initiatives
- Exposure to compliance across multiple locations
